Raspberry Sorbet


This Raspberry Sorbet recipe is simple to make because it features just raspberries, sugar and just the right amount of lemon juice. Try it with some balsamic vinegar drizzled over it. Sorbet will never be the same again.

Raspberry Sorbet Recipe

2 cups sugar
2 cups water
12oz. bag of frozen raspberries
¼ cup lemon juice

1) Prepare your sugar mixture

In a medium saucepan, whisk sugar and water under medium heat until the sugar dissolves.

2) Mix all of the ingredients

Transfer the sugar and water mixture to a food processor or blender. Add the frozen raspberries and lemon juice.  Process until smooth. Cool completely in the refrigerator.

3) Process the raspberry sorbet an ice cream maker

Pour into an ice cream maker and mix for 30-40 minutes. If desired, transfer sorbet into an airtight container and place in the freezer for 2 hours or until firm. This recipe makes 8 half cup servings of Raspberry Sorbet.
