Emily's Desserts Peanut Butter Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough

Sometimes I don't know what I like better: cookie dough or freshly baked cookies. Recently I picked up a 12 oz. tub of Peanut Butter Chocolate Chip Cookies from Emily's Desserts and found myself in the same conundrum. Emilys basically giving you no excuses for easy access to vegan eats. Don't feel like eating a ginormous store-bought cookie? Fine. Don't feel like going through the rigamarole of baking a batch of smaller cookies? Alright. With Emily's Peanut Butter Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough you no longer have any more excuses. Read on as we put them through their cookie paces.

Emily's Desserts are now offering no less than six flavors of cookie dough in addition to their pre-made, pre-packaged cookies. The cookie dough is perfect for things like parties or when you want to make some foolproof cookies without the possibility of failure. They contain the following ingredients:

Enriched flour (wheat flour, malted barley flour, niacin, reduced iron, thiamine mononitrate, riboflavin, folic acid), organic brown sugar, semi-sweet chocolate chips (evaporated cane juice, chocolate liquor, cocoa butter), expeller-pressed natural oil blend (soybean, palm fruit, canola, and olive oil), peanuts, agave syrup, water. Contains less than 2% of the following: salt, natural flavor, soy protein, vegan lactic acid, beta carotene (color), salt, sodium bicarbonate, potato starch, tapioca flour, calcium lactate (vegan), calcium carbonate, citric acid, sodium carboxymethyl cellulose, methylcellulose, organic vanilla extract.

Baking these cookies was pretty foolproof. I used a 1 ¼ ice cream scoop to place the dough on a parchment paper lined baking sheet which ended up making roughly a couple dozen cookies. They turned out perfect with a chewy interior and a crispy exterior that had the perfect level of peanuttiness. Chocolate chips were smaller than I'm used to seeing but very prominent. They worked well with the smaller size of the cookies. All this added up to make these cookies perfect to the point of where I had to hide them to keep myself from eating them all.

Emily's Desserts definitely did a great job with these cookies. Now you don't have any excuses for making awesome vegan eats. Emily's Desserts website didn't have any information on these cookies but they are available at The Vegan Store.

Here's a Tip!

Clean up as you go. In most cases your kitchen can be completely clean by the time the goodies come out of the oven.
