Definitely the most tangy of the non-dairy yogurts that I've tried. Another plain soy yogurt choice is Nancy's Organic Cultured Soy, and for nut yogurt there's Amande cultured almond milk by Cascade Fresh. Both are made by Northwest companies, so they're easy for me to get in Seattle, maybe not for you on the East Coast.

Peerless: WildWood just got better & is GLUTEN FREE!

In the UK Alpro is a pretty good yoghurt. I really like their plain one all though it doesn't really have the sourness of a good dairy yoghurt. I made a pretty good soy yoghurt but have not had much luck making nut yoghurts. I added a bit of sweetner as nut milk apparently lacks the sugars to feed the culture. I also read that pectin thickens it but it didn't work at all for me. Have you tried making your own nut yoghurts and if you have what success have you had?

Why buy vegan yoghurt when it's so easy to make your own, without any special equipment? :-> And so much tastier too. Alpro soymilk is my favorite soymilk, but their yoghurts have a bit of a beany taste. If I make my own yoghurt with their soymilk it's better, no beaniness at all! Also oat yoghurt, cashew yoghurt, almond yoghurt etc, so easy. http://www.suite101.com/content/how-to-make-vegan-yoghurt-at-home-a148623

Vegan Yogurts Reviewed: Coconut Yogurt Works!

I've used So Delicious coconut milk yogurt in baking recipes that call for yogurt, and it works magnificently! I do like the pudding-like taste of these yogurts, especially the chocolate and vanilla flavors. I can give them to my kids as a healthy dessert option, and they're very happy campers, indeed.
