Based in the UK and looking for a birthday cake for my daughter who is vegan through allergies. I'm very new to vegan baking so this website is fab. I just wondered if someone could tell me if the flour used in this recipe is plain flour or what we call self-raising flour here? Also I cant get hold of baking soda here so i'm going for baking powder which i'm told is different and that i'll need to add more. Thanks for any help!
