    I am a vegan chef. I was born, raised and educated in South Africa and moved to the United States in 1994. My passions are cooking, baking and teaching people about the benefits of veganism.
  • What are your interests?

    Cooking, baking, reading, writing, arts (particularly classical ballet).
  • What are your absolute favorite things to bake?

    Cakes, cookies, tarts, breads--basically everything :)
  • What are your favorite vegan baked items to eat?

    Cheesecake!!!
  • What types of vegan baking are you trying to master?

    Working without the use of egg whites to get a light texture in cakes.
  • What kind of music have you been listening to lately?

    Beethoven, Mozart, Jazz (Miles Davis), Annie Lenox, Pink Floyd, Brian Ferry (Roxy Music)
  • What shows or movies have you been into lately?

    Midnight in the Garden of Good and Evil

    I don't have one that stands out in particular. None that have been earth-shattering or changed my life in any way
