  Cakes and bread. Not pastry, because I'm no good at it.

• What types of vegan baking are you trying to master?

  I've just made a Christmas cake which has come out well and which I'm feeding regularly with whisky and sherry, but I'd like to make better regular cakes without egg replacer.

  A lot of 60's stuff, Stones, Kinks, Clapton, and some classical.

  Lawrence of Arabia - favourite all time movie

• Favorite Books

  I haven't read seriously for some years - a back problem prevents me from sitting down much, hence the permanent state of wandering. I miss books, I read voraciously as a child and young adult.
