Pear Liqueur Pear Liqueur

This Pear Liqueur recipe is refreshingly smooth and tastes similar to Eau De Vie or Lillet. It's even better in many ways because it's ridiculously easy to make and is extremely affordable. Use the sweetest organic pears you can get your hands on for best results. Pear Liqueur gets better with age so feel free to store it in the freezer for up to two years.

1 ½ lbs pears
750ml vodka

1)
Peel pears and remove the seeds and stems.  Cube into 1” pieces and add to a ½ gallon glass container.  Add vodka, close lid tightly and give it a shake.

2)
Keep in a cool dark place and strain out pear pieces after one week.  Age at least two more weeks.  Store the bottle in the freezer
