Welcome to Veganbaking.net! This site is dedicated to you: all the cruelty free bakers out there. We're providing a community for those who want a place to compare notes, get ideas for good eats and share knowledge. We're dedicated to furthering the spread of cruelty-free baking by making it an increasingly viable option to as many people as possible and showing the world that we really know how to chow down. Cruelty-free baked goods can frequently taste just as good or better than animal based ones if done properly.

There are too many cruelty-free baked goods out there that put health before taste. While baked goods without animal products are usually healthier than their animal based counterparts (less hydrogenated oils, less saturated fats and no cholesterol), taste, consistency and convenience should be the top priorities.

Veganbaking.net is the result of several years of planning and brainstorming to find the best method for pushing vegan baking forward as much as possible. Whether you're vegan, vegetarian or just interested in reducing your exposure to certain ingredients, Veganbaking.net is your cookbook! In order for it to serve it's purpose we depend on user-submitted content in the form of recipes, articles and informative, fun comments and forum activity. Unlike other recipes sites on the internet with many thousands of recipes, Veganbaking.net has hundreds of recipes contributed by dedicated volunteers. As these recipes are tested by the worldwide community they are often updated based on user feedback, making them even better. Please help us grow our recipe database by submitting any of your vegan baking recipes that you'd like to share.

Here's a Tip!

Sometimes when you add fruit pieces to cake batter, the fruit sinks to the bottom during baking. To keep this from happening coat your fruit pieces in flour before adding them to the batter.
